Getting to Utah on our trip was quite nice because since we had lived there only a year before, we weren't super stressed out about seeing all the sights. Instead, we spent the majority of our time visiting our family that lived there.
We stayed with Alex and Brittany in Springville, Utah and had a blast with them and our two cute nieces. We went on a small little hike (walk in the woods) with Brittany and had some fun exploring with Brooklyn, who is two.
We also learned that we are horrible babysitters, since we couldn't get two little girls to sleep without driving them around in the car for 30 minutes. We are pretty sure that we are not quite ready for parenthood after that fiasco. We spent one morning with our friends Ashley and Jake, who are pretty much our best friends from Utah. They have two cute kids, and even with their hands full, they found time to cook us an amazing breakfast. We also visited my sister, brother-in-law, and niece and nephew in Riverton, then headed up to northern Utah to see Caitlin's grandparents and a few aunts/uncles and cousins.
It was a really short time in Utah, but we really enjoyed it and are hoping that next time we go we get to see more people.
|Best part of the drive is getting to see this in the passenger seat every day.|
