Our Thursday night activity was to make treats and deliver them to others. First thing we did was sit down and think about a few of the people in our life that really deserved some treats. So we decided on 4 people to deliver treats to and write them a note and we got to work creating delicious treats.
Caitlin made some delicious oatmeal chocolate chip cookies in her Bosch. Caitlin will use any excuse to use her Bosch. It's probably her favorite kitchen gadget.
We decided to wear our aprons around the kitchen so we could stay clean from all the flour and sugar being thrown around.
Baking takes a long time so we also had fun with our puppets, I mean oven mitts. :)
We also made peanut butter cookies, a few with hershey's kisses in them and a few without. They are SOO good.
Here is Caitlin showing off her creations.
"Kissing" the peanut butter cookies.
How the plates looked after we covered them in goodies.
After creating brownies, oatmeal cookies, and peanut butter cookies we went to deliver them to our friends and ward members. It was quite exciting doorbell ditching everything. Caitlin is hilarious when she runs up to the door. She gets all sorts of panicky. :) Love that adrenaline rush!
This was such a fun experience and we hope that the treats made the day of those we made them for. This countdown is so much fun! We are going to do a "fancy date" tonight for our Friday. Get excited!
