This past week I attended an expedition to Salt Lake City to talk with employers about potential internships/employment opportunities. It was a lot of fun being able to see a different side of SLC (normally it's temple square and my sisters house). We were able to visit Richter 7, Love Communications, Deseret Book, and KSL, among others. We were also visited by a career coach who taught us the 11 most essential things for our careers (I'll post those later). It was so great to see how my degree can be used - and the variety of skills that I need to master in order to succeed. Good thing I've got a few months to become a pro before I graduate. :)

I really learned so much about a career in communication from our trip, but the main thing I think I took away from the trip is that I'm not sure if I want to move to SLC. I was always a bit hesitant, but it felt right. But now I'm really 50/50. I've never wanted to live in Utah - and I just feel like there are more possibilities for me elsewhere. I guess only time will tell on that one.
